Summer 2010 is going to be outstanding at The Dance Center!
Younger dancers from age 4-8 have two camps to choose from: Great Stories Ballet Camp and Tea Parties and Garden Dances. The Great Stories Ballet Camp will learn a famous ballet each day such as Swan Lake or Coppelia. We will learn the storylines and the characters, create dances to the music and be inspired by the timeless masterpieces. Tea Parties and Garden Dances will play upon summer. We will create dances about watering our garden or carrying a parasol because it is hot, and have a tea party each day in our garden. Cost: $120.
For students age 9 and older, we are holding a six week ballet technique session from June 21-July 30. On Tuesdays and Thursdays for twelve classes, we will focus on our technique. Intermediate ballet for age 9-11 meets from 4-5:30pm, and advanced ballet for age 12 and up meets from 5:30-7pm. Cost: $150.
