Dancers Age 7 -18
Four levels of ballet give special attention to correct body placement for classical dance. All levels incorporate stretching and strengthening in preparation for the wonderful years of dance ahead. Movement vocabulary is expanded with musical phrasing emphasized. Students grow individually at their own rate being placed at the proper level. Ballet 3 gives the opportunity to experience pointe work for the serious dancer demanding strength, commitment, and focus. Dancers are encouraged to attend summer programs, participate in master classes, or join performing ensembles. Students attend one to four classes per week September through May concluding with The Spring Performance.
Ballet shoes, leotard, tights, fitted pant or skirt.
All dancers should have hair pulled neatly off of face, and older dancers should have long hair up and off neck.
"Thank you for the way you see the dancers in our children and the way you work so hard to help them find the grace, the beauty, and the dancers in themselves. TDC offers them a chance to have dreams come true."
