Jordan Reed

Jordan Reed found her love of ballet at the age of 12 when she began her training under Deborah Bean at the Idaho Falls School of Ballet. At the age of 16, she attended the Washington School of Ballet's summer intensive and was offered a full scholarship. In Washington D.C., she had the opportunity to perform with the Washington Ballet in George Balanchine's "Serenade" on the Kennedy Center Stage. At the age of 17, Jordan was offered a contract with the Houston Ballet from Artistic Director Stanton Welch and spent the next seven seasons (2006–2013) dancing with them. In 2012, Jordan opened a custom dance wear business called Lone Reed Designs which has grown to be more successful than she could have imagined. She has enjoyed selling her custom leotards to dancers around the United States and the world. In 2014, Jordan moved to NYC to freelance for a season. During this time she was able to explore the many offerings of the city and made lasting ties with fabric companies that would ultimately help her business be what it is today. Jordan now resides in Livingston Montana.
